Responsibilities
  • Support Strategic Initiatives: Assist in gathering and analysing data to provide insights and recommendations and support the development and execution of the company’s strategic plan by coordinating relevant activities and resources.

  • Enhance Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with various departments to gather information on operational processes and identify potential bottlenecks. Assist in the implementation of initiatives aimed at improving departmental efficiency.

  • Facilitate Communication and Coordination: Serve as a liaison between the Head of operation and cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination. Prepare and organize briefing materials, reports, and presentations for executive meetings.

  • Monitor Performance Metrics: Assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics across departments. Gather and compile performance data to provide regular updates and support the development of improvement plans.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Support initiatives for process optimization and organizational effectiveness. Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to provide insights that help maintain the company's competitive edge.

  • Cross-train within the supply chain team & operations team managers to serve as back up where needed.

  • Analyzes current operations and complex data sheets

  • Assists with implementation of changes through lean manufacturing concepts.

  • Identifies and compares the efficiency of new processes

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial Engineering preferred), Supply Chain, Operations Management, Logistics or related field, or equivalent experience in a similar role.

  • 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to openly convey information to team members across all levels and functions of the organization and get results through excellent organizational and project management.

  • Works effectively with a wide number of functional areas. Able to lead, contribute, and influence others in a team-based environment.

  • Experience in PC-based planning and inventory systems, ERP/MRP.

  • Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting results via google sheet or excel and power BI will be an added advantage.

  • Able to develop detailed processes to recreate complex analyses for frequent monitoring of various business conditions.

  • Can ensure strategies and tactical plans are consistent with overall manufacturing and service functional objectives.
