Job summary

Golden Agri Resources is seeking an Oil Transfer Controller to oversee end-to-end transfer activities from ships to tanks and from tanks to buyers. You will monitor stock, supervise loading/unloading by land and sea, and coordinate transportation to ensure operations run smoothly and safely.

The role requires a bachelor degree in logistics or shipping, 1+ year experience (fresh graduates welcome), willingness to travel across operational areas, and strong knowledge of port procedures and safety

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor degree in Logistics or Shipping.
• 1+ year of experience as Oil Transfer Controller or in a related role (fresh graduates welcome).
• Good knowledge of port and shipping procedures and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist Section Head prepares reports on oil transfer supervision of each activity undertaken.
• Control stock in accordance with authority relating to oil transfer.
• Ensure oil transfer proceeds as planned and to standard.
• Supervise oil and PK shipping/loading/unloading by land and sea.
• Manage and supervise transportation used for oil and PK transport.
• Monitor oil transfer process traffic in accordance with purpose/designation.
• Implement safety standard procedures to avoid accidents or oil loss.
• Collaborate with other functions in bulking for activities of loading/unloading/oil transfer.
• Understand types and characteristics of oil transportation equipment (ships, trucks).
• Monitor the process of the scaling.
