Job summary

FACETOLOGY is seeking an Odoo Developer to join our IT team in Jakarta. You will design, customize, and optimize our Odoo ERP to support sales, finance, inventory, purchasing, and supply chain processes.

The role requires 1–2 years of Odoo development experience, strong Python skills, and a solid understanding of Odoo ORM and PostgreSQL. You will work closely with business users and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Qualifications

Role

As an Odoo Developer, you will join our IT team to support the development, customization, and continuous improvement of our Odoo ERP system. You will work closely with business users and cross-functional teams to develop solutions that support day-to-day operations and business processes across Sales, Finance, Inventory, Purchasing, and Supply Chain.

Responsibilites

• Develop and customize Odoo modules according to business and technical requirements.
• Maintain and enhance existing Odoo custom modules.
• Analyze and troubleshoot functional and technical issues in Odoo.
• Develop new features, workflows, business logic, and system customizations.
• Customize Odoo models, fields, views, actions, reports, and security configurations.
• Work with PostgreSQL for data investigation and technical troubleshooting when required.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Odoo and external systems.
• Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform testing and debugging before deployment to production.
• Investigate and resolve production issues.
• Maintain technical documentation for customizations and integrations.
• Follow good coding practices and version control procedures.
• Support continuous improvement and optimization of the company's Odoo ERP system.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience developing and customizing Odoo modules.
• Good understanding of Odoo ORM, models, fields, domains, computed fields, and business logic.
• Experience working with Odoo XML views and interface customization.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Odoo access rights, security groups, and record rules.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging Odoo applications.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Able to understand existing code and work independently.
