Job summary

PT Astra Graphia Information Technology is seeking a Network Security Engineer to design, monitor, and improve our secure network infrastructure in Jakarta. You will configure firewalls, manage VPNs and ACLs, and enhance threat detection and response capabilities.

The role requires strong networking knowledge, experience with Wireshark/Nmap/SIEM, and familiarity with Linux and Windows Server. Certifications in Palo Alto or Fortinet are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, OSI, subnetting, VLANs, routing, switching.
• Experience configuring and managing Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Cisco firewalls.
• Knowledge of VPNs, NAT, ACLs, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats and vulnerability management.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, and SIEM platforms.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows Server, plus basic scripting.
• Ability to monitor traffic, investigate incidents, and enforce security policies.
• Certifications in Palo Alto or Fortinet are a plus.
