Job summary

A precast concrete company in Indonesia is seeking a skilled Mould Development Team Leader. This role involves managing the team responsible for manufacturing moulds for precast concrete products. Candidates must have strong carpentry skills, proficiency in CAD software, and experience in a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while driving team performance and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate in verbal and written English.
  • Strong Carpentry skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and computer-controlled machinery.
  • Ability to operate and maintain various tools and equipment used in mould making.
  • Proven experience as a Mould Maker or similar role in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret CAD models and technical drawings to understand mould specifications.
  • Use and guide others in using tools, equipment, and machinery to fabricate mould components per design specs.
  • Collaborate with designers and team members to ensure mould designs meet functional and aesthetic needs.
  • Inspect and test completed moulds to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and fix mould issues to minimize production downtime.
  • Manage maintenance and repairs of moulds.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
  • Document mould specifications, modifications, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure the Mould Making Team follows the company's Quality Management System.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
  • Document mould specifications, modifications, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure the Mould Making Team follows the company's Quality Management System.
