Responsibilities

• Create and design learning programs for children with special needs
• Conduct observations of children's development to determine learning needs
• Develop learning plans and strategies in collaboration with the Paraprofessional Coordinator
• Create teaching materials required for children with special needs
• Produce reports on learning program outcomes
• Document children's progress through observation notes, portfolios, and work samples
• Create a safe, orderly, and conducive classroom environment aligned with Montessori principles
• Guide children in maintaining order, responsibility for materials, and respect for the learning environment
• Foster social values including cooperation, empathy, and communication
• Communicate with parents regarding child development and provide academic and social recommendations
