Job summary

JAPFA, an agribusiness leader in Asia-Pacific, seeks a Hatchery Supervisor to oversee daily hatchery activities in the Sumbawa region. You will monitor breeding and larval rearing, ensure water quality, guide workers, and maintain meticulous records.

The role requires coordination with operators and strict biosecurity compliance. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Fisheries/Aquaculture, with experience in hatcheries or larval production.

Qualifications

• Minimal Diploma (D3) or Sarjana (S1) in Fisheries, Aquaculture, or related field.
• Experience in hatcheries, fry production, or larval production is advantageous.
• Willing to work shifts; high attention to detail; able to work independently or in a team.

Job description

Qualifications: Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Fisheries, Aquatic Cultivation, Aquaculture, or a related field. Experience in hatcheries, fry production, or fish/shrimp larval production is an advantage. Understanding of larval rearing techniques, live feed culture, and water quality management. Ability to monitor larval health, record production data, and implement biosecurity measures. Willingness to work shifts; high attention to detail; ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Willingness to be stationed in the Sumbawa area.

1. 1. Mengawasi aktivitas operasional hatchery sehari-hari sesuai dengan rencana kerja dan SOP yang berlaku.
2. 2. Memantau proses pemijahan, pemeliharaan larva, pendederan (nursery), serta kualitas air.
3. 3. Membimbing dan mengoordinasikan operator serta pekerja hatchery.
4. 4. Memastikan kepatuhan terhadap standar biosekuriti, kualitas, keselamatan kerja, dan kebersihan.
5. 5. Melaporkan setiap ketidaksesuaian, peningkatan mortalitas, atau permasalahan operasional yang terjadi.
6. 6. Memelihara dan memastikan kelengkapan pencatatan operasional harian.

Kualifikasi: Minimal Diploma (D3) atau Sarjana (S1) Perikanan, Budidaya Perairan, Akuakultur, atau bidang terkait. Memiliki pengalaman di bidang hatchery, produksi benih, atau produksi larva ikan/udang menjadi nilai tambah. Memahami teknik pemeliharaan larva, kultur pakan alami, dan manajemen kualitas air. Mampu melakukan monitoring kesehatan larva, pencatatan data produksi, serta penerapan biosekuriti. Bersedia bekerja dengan sistem shift, memiliki ketelitian tinggi, serta mampu bekerja secara mandiri maupun dalam tim. Bersedia ditempatkan di wilayah Sumbawa.
