Job summary

tiket.com is seeking an enthusiastic Data Scientist intern to help develop and deliver AI/ML products within our Data Science team in Jakarta. You will collaborate with engineers across teams, research new technologies, and contribute to technical docs while learning from senior colleagues.

The role requires a CS/DS/Statistics/Engineering background, Python proficiency, and exposure to ML frameworks. A commitment of at least 6 months is expected, with opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing/recently completed degree in CS/DS/Statistics/Engineering.
• Basic software engineering or DevOps concepts.
• Familiarity with ML Pipelines or ML Ops.
• Cloud tech exposure (GCP preferred).
• Data processing basics (batch/stream).
• Propose a technical approach with guidance.
• Proficient in Python.
• Familiar with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willing to commit to at least 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and delivering AI/ML products.
• Collaborate with engineers to support AI/ML implementation.
• Research latest tech to improve the environment.
• Assist in writing technical documentation.
• Help monitor running ML services under guidance.
