Job summary

A mining company in Kalimantan Barat is seeking a Mine Surveyor to conduct topographic surveys and prepare geological maps. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Geodesy or Mining, with 2-3 years of experience in mining operations. Proficiency in survey instruments and software is essential. The role requires site placement on a rotation basis of 10 weeks on and 2 weeks off.

Job description

Conduct topographic surveys and mapping of exploration sites using total stations, GPS, drones, and mapping software.

Prepare and update topographic maps, geological maps, and drilling maps.

Assist the geology team in setting out and marking drilling locations.

Manage and organize survey data in a systematic and accessible format.

Monitor volume calculations and progress measurements of exploration works.

Ensure all survey activities comply with safety standards and environmental regulations.

Coordinate with exploration, mapping, and GIS teams for data alignment and accuracy.

Prepare regular technical reports and documentation.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Geodesy, Mining, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Mine Surveyor in mining operations.
  • Proficient in using survey instruments (Total Station, GPS RTK, Drone, etc.) and related software (Surpac, AutoCAD, GIS, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of mine design, volume calculation, and coordinate systems.
  • Willing to be placed on site with roster system (10 weeks on: 2 weeks off).
