Job summary

Techconnect seeks a seasoned External Relations lead to manage stakeholder engagement and land access for mining operations. You will coordinate with communities, authorities, landowners, and other parties to secure access while ensuring compliance with Indonesian regulations and internal policies.

Based at the mine site with travel to surrounding communities, you will collaborate with Legal, CSR, and Mining Operations to align efforts and mitigate social risks, disputes, and disruptions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years of External Relations, Land Acquisition, Government Relations, or Community Relations experience.
• Mining industry experience preferred (Nickel mining).
• Understanding of land acquisition processes and relevant Indonesian regulations.
• Willingness to be based at the mine site and travel to communities.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with local communities, government authorities, customary leaders, landowners, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate land identification, ownership verification, mapping, negotiation, compensation, and documentation for land access.
• Coordinate with local government institutions to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Identify and mitigate social risks, land disputes, and conflicts through negotiation and grievance resolution.
• Collaborate with Legal, Permit, CSR, and Mining Operations for alignment on land and engagement activities.
• Monitor land acquisition progress and provide reports and recommendations to management.
