Follow strategies to attract new merchants and create business opportunities, working with team members to meet goals. Build relationships with potential merchants, explaining Grab's value, and keep up with market trends to adjust strategies. You will be reporting to the Merchant Partner Manager. Working onsite from Surabaya office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
  • Build established merchant acquisition strategies to acquire new leads and maximize business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with partners to align and achieve merchant acquisition goals.
  • Develop relationships with potential merchants, introducing them to Grab’s ecosystem and value proposition.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies and address merchant needs.
  • Manage the end-to-end merchant acquisition process—from initial outreach to onboarding—ensuring a smooth handover to the account management team.
  • Active monitor and validate daily progress against targets, provide constructive feedback to team members, and implement improvements to improve performance.
  • Deliver structured updates with clear action items, assigned partners, and defined ETAs to ensure on time resolution of all pending backlog tasks.
  • Regularly coach, mentor, and guide the team, offering constructive feedback and strategies to improve overall performance and productivity.
  • Be open to travelingin selected cities across Jabodetabek & Karawang Indonesia
