Job summary

A leading retail company in Tangerang is seeking a talented merchandising professional to drive product development, manage the merchandise mix, and expand market share. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in merchandising, especially within the fashion retail industry, and possesses strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English is required. This position is based at the Karawaci head office.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the category's product development
• Sourcing and managing the merchandise mix for the achievement of targeted sales and profits
• Creating new ideas to expand the product's market
• Increasing market share
• Monitoring merchandise performance (sales analysis)
• Planning merchandise clearance
• Brand reporting requirements
• Works with vendors to secure the best prices, quality, and delivery terms

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma Degree from reputable university (preferably majoring in fashion design)
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in merchandising position, preferably from fashion retail or textile industry
• Has good knowledge about product development
• Strong retail math & analytical skills, detail oriented
• Must have a thorough knowledge of fashion lifestyle and sharp business sense
