Job summary

Innovation Factory Indonesia is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to design, review, and coordinate MEP drawings for large industrial buildings and site infrastructure in Batam. You will oversee on-site installation to ensure conformance with approved designs and safety codes.

You will work with civil and structural teams to prevent clashes in underground utilities and overhead services, and you will test and commission transformers, generators, piping, and ventilation systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of hands-on MEP construction experience in industrial parks or large projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM.
• Knowledge of high/low voltage power, HVAC, firefighting, and wastewater systems.
• Familiar with local and international building codes and standards.

• Test and commission electrical transformers, generators, plumbing pipelines, and ventilation systems.
• Manage sub-contractors, monitor project schedules, and control material waste on site.
• Resolve technical site issues quickly to prevent delays in the construction timeline.
• Ensure all mechanical and electrical work follows local government regulations and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Willing to be located in Batam Project Site.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 7 to 10 years of hands‑on experience in MEP construction, specifically within industrial parks, factories, or large commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM (Building Information Modeling).
• Deep understanding of high/low voltage power systems, HVAC, firefighting networks, and sewage treatment plants.
• Familiarity with local and international building codes.
• Experience in managing contractors with good English skills.
