Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an MEP Inspector to monitor and inspect on-site MEP works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards. You will verify material deliveries, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and review inspection test plans, NCRs, and close‑out documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, 1–5 years’ experience in MEP inspection, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; strong English reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering required.
• 1–5 years of experience in MEP inspection, preferably on high-rise or mission-critical projects such as data centres.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and methods.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Excellent English communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect MEP works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Ensure construction activities align with the project schedule, method statements, and technical specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed progress and quality reports.
• Verify material deliveries and ensure they meet project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve design and construction issues.
• Review and approve inspection test plans (ITPs), non‑conformance reports (NCRs), and close‑out documentation.
• Ensure adherence to local building codes, fire safety regulations, and environmental standards.
