Job summary

Responsibilities

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs in radiology services, as well as conducting research and making necessary innovations related to radiation protection to provide guarantees on aspects of radiation safety to patients, radiology workers and the environment
  • Maintain work culture and radiation protection procedures, as well as provide consideration of decisions based on radiation safety aspects to related parties, to ensure the achievement of radiation safety in the hospital environment
  • Calculate the dose received by the patient by applying the As Low As Reasonably Achievable principle
  • Conduct continuous reviews and checks on maintenance activities, availability and condition of existing resources in radiology services, including human resources, equipment and radiation protection equipment to minimize/prevent obstacles in operational activities of radiology services
  • Check the imaging results after the examination to ensure the imaging results are in good condition and comply with standards
  • Collaborate with Radiologist Specialists and Radiographers in ensuring acceptance criteria for the quality of imaging results and dose justification
  • Collaborate with electromedical technicians in carrying out commissioning, acceptance tests and calibration of radiology equipment, including carrying out X‑ray equipment suitability tests if necessary, to ensure the readiness and suitability of equipment to be used in radiology services
  • Provide support in planning and supervising the implementation of radiation protection training programs to ensure the achievement of established radiation safety standards
  • Provide support to permit holders in finding facts and evaluating radiation accidents so that they do not happen again
  • Assist permit holders in managing permits for the use of nuclear energy from BAPETEN
  • Collect required data and/or create reports related to operational activities to be used as analysis material by superiors or by other related parties
  • Implement procedures and practices for quality and safety services, including attending training, collecting data, documenting and/or making reports needed to support the achievement of hospital wide indicators and related department/unit targets
