Job summary

RGE is seeking a Mechanical Technician in Indonesia to join our maintenance team for pulp processing equipment. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring reliability and safety.

You will work with mechanical and electrical principles, adjust components, replace parts, and run tests on initial batches to verify performance. Willingness to relocate and prior exposure in similar roles are valued.

Qualifications

• A basic school certificate.
• Relevant working exposure or experience in a similar role.
• Willing to relocate to the job location.

Responsibilities

• Applies basic mechanical and electrical principles to maintain, resolve and service of mechanical equipment.
• Adjust and align machine parts.
• Replace defective parts of machinery as needed.
• Take apart existing machinery to clear floor space for new machinery.
• Move machinery and equipment.
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components.
• Perform tests and run initial batches to ensure the machine runs smoothly.
• Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications.
