Role Description

The Mechanical Supervisor will be overseeing the installation and testing of HVAC, plumbing, and related mechanical systems at site. He/she is responsible to monitor daily activities, ensure compliance with drawings and specifications, coordinate between trades, and uphold quality and safety performance.

Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate daily mechanical installation activities on site (HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, and other mechanical systems).
• Ensure installation works follow approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with other trades (Electrical, FSS, CSA) to resolve site issues and avoid clashes.
• Monitor progress and workmanship of subcontractors to maintain quality and schedule.
• Prepare daily reports on manpower, materials, and work progress.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and in compliance with HSE requirements.
• Report site issues, material shortages, or design discrepancies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or vocational certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mechanical works supervision.
• Experience in data center, industrial, or commercial building projects preferred.
• Familiar with mechanical installation standards and safety regulations.
• Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is required to communicate effectively.
