Mechanical Project Engineer

Job Description
This position will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing projects by empowering engineers within his/her working unit, as well as managing the CAPEX budget for project deliverables.
It also provides technical consultation to the Maintenance team in the factories to drive maintenance improvement programs/projects, including OEE improvement and cost‑saving initiatives.
Scope elevation integrates Engineering and Manufacturing by assisting the Operations Director to deploy and sustain KHMS (Kraft Heinz Manufacturing System) in the factories and ensuring KHMS standards are maintained by building and developing team capabilities at the plant.

  • Plan, coordinate, analyze, and review the scope of work for various projects.
  • Work closely with Engineers and related stakeholders to manage paperwork, change orders, contractors, timelines, and ensure safety and quality standards are in place.
  • Prepare project proposals, including reviewing requests, obtaining quotes, and estimating spending.
  • Lead regular project reviews to monitor timelines, deadlines, and requirements.
  • Act as single point of contact for ordering materials and equipment matters.
  • Prepare routine project reports for BU and regional leadership teams and relevant stakeholders (weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly).
  • Control and monitor project costs from the engineering side.
  • Build rituals and routines with the Plant Maintenance Team to understand issues and provide technical solutions to improve maintenance performance and cost‑saving initiatives.
  • Hold regular catch‑ups with Plant Managers to build an effective Maintenance organization structure.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Electrical).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Engineering, with at least 5 years of team‑leading experience.
  • Project management skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, mechanical design, and machinery setup.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis abilities.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Persistence and ability to manage high‑pressure situations.
  • Willpower to face change and ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Willingness to be posted at the Karawang factory.
Civil Project Engineer

Job Description

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Skills in Civil Engineering Design.
  • Experience in Stormwater Management and Site Development.
  • Quality Control skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software relevant to civil engineering (SAP, ARIBA, MDG).
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to stay in Karawang, Jawa Bar.
