Job summary

PT Equipease Solutions Indonesia is seeking a technically skilled technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts, with emphasis on electric reach trucks. The candidate will conduct regular inspections to ensure safe, efficient operation and will interpret technical manuals to resolve mechanical and electrical issues.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance scheduling, maintaining service records, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Fresh graduates welcome; candidates with at least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Able to speak and understand English.
• Heavy Equipment Mechanic Competency Certificate is required.
• SIM A (Indonesian Class A Driving License) required.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with electric forklifts and reach trucks is highly preferred.
• Able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Job description

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of forklifts, especially electric reach trucks and forklift units.

Conduct routine inspections to ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and provide effective solutions.

Handle preventive maintenance schedules and maintain service records.

Assist with mechanical equipment maintenance and support ongoing technical operations.

Interpret technical manuals, explanations, and instructions related to mechanical systems.

Continuously improve technical knowledge of mechanical equipment used in daily operations.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Open to fresh graduates; candidates with at least 1 year of relevant experience are preferred.

Able to speak and understand English.

Must possess a valid Heavy Equipment Mechanic Competency Certificate (Sertifikat Kompetensi Mekanik Alat Berat).

Must possess a valid SIM A (Indonesian Class A Driving License).

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Familiarity with electric forklifts and reach trucks is highly preferred.

Able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
