Job summary

Odysee Education in Jakarta is seeking qualified English-speaking Mathematics teachers to join our network of schools serving thousands of students across Indonesia.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s in Math Education, minimum 1 year of math teaching, and experience with Cambridge IGCSE or A-Level math; we offer relocation support, housing and transport allowances, and sponsorship for permits.

Qualifications

• English speaker and citizen from the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
• Minimum 1 year of Mathematics teaching experience in a school environment (any level).
• Bachelor’s degree in Math Education, or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and/or A-Level Math subjects, with a strong focus on exam preparation and assessment objectives would be preferred.
• Able to adjust teaching methods based on student learning needs.
• Communicative, patient, and passionate about education.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Mathematics to students across different grade levels.
• Creating fun and engaging lesson plans.
• Supporting student progress and providing constructive feedback.
• Working alongside a friendly and collaborative teaching community.
