Job summary

A leading international supplier in Jakarta Utara is seeking a Material Development Purchasing Specialist to manage supplier sourcing and negotiation of contracts. The successful candidate will have over 2 years of procurement experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong communication and negotiation skills are necessary, along with the ability to optimize costs and manage supplier teams. Fluency in English is required; Mandarin skills are a plus. Qualifications

• More than 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience in the relevant field.
• Familiar with the entire procurement process, delivery management, quality control, and inventory management capabilities.
• English proficiency is required; Mandarin fluency is an added advantage.

Material Development Purchasing Specialist

Leading supplier sourcing and introduction, negotiation of business terms and contract signing.

Proactively provide material configuration iteration and cost optimization solutions to the demand side, generating value-added services.

New equipment development + procurement integration; responsible for developing and purchasing order whole-link matching loops and supplier exception records.

Responsible for setting up standard processes and maintaining Knowledge Base.

Responsible for coaching and training on overseas material module work.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above, with more than 2 year of purchasing or procurement work experience in the relevant field.
• Possessing abundant supplier resources, ability to develop and manage supplier teams, familiar with cost savings; familiar with the entire procurement process, delivery management, quality control, and inventory management capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software, master common functions/formulas and data tools.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, goal decomposition, communication and coordination skills, and teamwork spirit.
• Proficient in English (Mandarin fluency is an added advantage).
