A logistics company in Jakarta is seeking a Business Development professional to identify new opportunities, especially from Chinese and Taiwanese companies. Responsibilities include sales activities, achieving sales targets, and maintaining client relationships. The ideal candidate has an S1 degree in Marketing Business or related fields, at least 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, and fluency in both English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working experience in freight forwarding.
• Knowledge about Incoterm is an advantage.
• Familiar with freight forwarding systems is advantageous.

Responsibility

Business Development and find a new opportunity from Chinese, Hong Kong and Taiwan companies.

Sales Activities, Market Research, Client Acquisition.

Sales Target Achievement and Relationship Management.

Reporting.

Focus discovers new business opportunities from Chinese companies including Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Sales Target Achievement; Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company.

Sales Closing; Negotiate contract/quotation, close deals, and ensure a smooth transition for new clients.

Reporting, Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline progress, and market insights direct to superiors (Asst. Manager and Japanese Manager).

Qualifications

• S1 degree in Marketing Business, Logistics, Transportation or equivalent
• Have minimum 2 years working experience in freight forwarding company
• Have knowledge about freight forwarding system is advantage
• Have knowledge about Incoterm
• Fluently in English and Mandarin both oral and written
• Familiar with computer Ms. Office
• Able to work under pressure
