Job description

To work in the marketing function within a country, develop and implement marketing efforts in order to ensure Takasago's leading position within the country.

To partner with sales and technical teams to build pipeline and maximise new win revenue according the country’s overall business objectives.

Reports Marketing Director

Core Responsibilities
Identify needs and opportunities through external and internal analysis
  • Partner with sales to identify growth opportunities and target accounts
  • Lead Marketing efforts to commercialize new technologies and products to drive profitable growth, through partnering with Local Technical, Sales and TIS team
  • Consolidate and prioritise needs and communicates to Marketing Director
  • Engage with Sales Teams to provide marketing support for targeted local customers
    • Engage on customer briefs and marketing requests, where appropriate
    • Plan, coordinate and executes key local customers visit in relation to marketing activities
    • Ensure local Marketing activity is consistent with Flavour Division Branding & Positioning. Build Takasago Brand in the local market
    Build Market Understanding
    • Develop deep understanding of local customer brands and local market dynamics
    • Become local category expert, through analysis of consumer trends and insights, new launches and competitive landscape
    • Support innovation efforts by providing local market justification and requirements to the BU team (eg sales/projection, regulatory requirements, product price and performance expectation)
    • Lead the commercialisation effort at a local level through effective partnering with Local technical and sales, TIS teams
    Qualifications
    • University degree in Marketing or related field
    • 5-8 years of hands‑on experience in a similar role
    • Experience in Food and Beverage or related industries (flavours, food ingredients) an advantage
    • Proficient in Indonesian language, English and possess competent presentation skills
    • Able to translate insights into relevant and actionable concepts
