MARKETING MANAGEMENT MANAGER PADEL SPORT
The main duties of a padel manager include managing the club's daily operations, including the courts, facilities, and staff (coaches, receptionists, etc.); developing strategies to increase revenue through events, tournaments, and membership promotions; and ensuring an optimal customer experience. The manager is also responsible for administration, such as budget oversight and performance reporting, as well as fostering good relationships with the player community.
Operations and services
- Oversee all daily operational activities to ensure smoothness and efficiency.
- Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of the padel court facilities at all times.
- Arrange court reservations, training sessions, and other events.
- Ensure high standards of service are provided to all members and guests.
Business development and marketing
- Planning and executing events, tournaments, and membership programs to increase revenue.
- Developing marketing strategies to attract new customers, including promotions through apps, social media, and collaborations with other parties.
- Building and maintaining good relationships with the padel community and club members.
Team and staff management
- Administration and reporting
- Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and prepare regular performance reports
- Handle administrative tasks related to staff and operations
Key responsibilities
- Provide strong market knowhow of the categories in scope and a good understanding of complex marketing and e-commerce solutions and processes.
- Monitoring of supplier performance and the reporting of this analysis to internal stakeholders and the Global Category Manager.
- Stakeholder management with the ability to identify purchasing and supplier risks before reporting them as appropriate.
- Possess a customer centric mindset and show awareness and understanding of the target consumer and their experience.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams, resources and channels, ensure the designed solution is launched with high quality and rollout as planned.
- Plan and oversee offline promotional activities such as events, exhibitions, and print advertisements.
- Conduct public relations to enhance the company's image.
- Develop and manage offline sales promotion schemes, including discounts and cashback.
- Build and maintain relationships with sales partners and distributors directly.
- Manage and optimize marketing campaigns across various digital channels such as social media, search engines, and email.
- Increase website traffic and rankings through Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies.
- Monitor and analyse digital (online) campaign performance data, such as conversion rates and user behaviour, for optimization.
- Collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) or influencers for online promotions.
Qualifications
- Educated S1 or S2 degree or equivalent level in Social economics, Business, Management
- Ideally above 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position such as sport club center and gym or hotel sport management
- An interest in either sport or the luxury goods market
- Marketing expertise with experience of operating on a global scale with a drive to deliver best in class purchasing methods whilst maintaining a continuous improvement mindset
- Strong influencer who has the readiness to identify cost reduction opportunities with the aim of achieving service targets with respect to quality, costs and time
- Accustomed and knowledgeable in using SAP system and related software
- The candidate must be able to work Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
