Qualifications

  • Solid knowledge of factory setup and layout planning.

About the Company

PT Sole Tech Indonesia (PMA), we are a growing company looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who will play a technical role in supporting our new factory setup and production readiness. This is a hands on position for someone who’s technically strong, proactive, and ready to take on the challenge of building systems from the ground up. You’ll work closely with management and external contractors to bring the factory to life — from layout and installation to commissioning and operational excellence.

Job Responsibility
  • Coordinate with mechanical and electrical contractors for utility piping, wiring, and machine layout.
  • Assist and supervise machinery installation, production line arrangement, and commissioning activities.
  • Plan and design plant layout for optimal material flow, space utilization, and safety compliance.
  • Provide technical support in plastic injection and rubber compression molding operations.
  • Define and monitor process parameters to achieve quality and efficiency targets.
  • Support root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions for process deviations, especially in molding issues (short shot, flash, warpage, sink mark).
  • Monitor and maintain factory utility systems (chilled water, compressed air, power distribution).
  • Prepare and maintain technical documents, reports, and As-Built drawings.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Propose process improvements to enhance productivity, safety, and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing industry, preferably in plastic injection molding.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in rubber compression molding (preferred).
  • Having a solid knowledge of factory setup, layout planning, and equipment installation.
  • Familiar with injection molding machines (horizontal & vertical) and materials such as TPR, TPU, Nylon (PA), POM, and PP.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Hands-on, analytical, and detail-oriented.
