Role Description

The Mandarin Language Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging Mandarin lessons that align with the school’s national and international curricula for various grade levels. This full-time, on-site role in Bakti Mulya 400 Cibubur involves preparing lesson plans, teaching in the classroom, assessing student progress, and providing regular feedback to students and guardians.

The teacher will create a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports the school’s values and encourages students to develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in Mandarin. Daily tasks include designing learning materials, integrating appropriate educational technology, participating in school meetings and professional development activities, and collaborating with colleagues to support cross-curricular projects. The teacher also contributes to school events and language-related activities that enhance students’ cultural understanding and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess knowledge of Literature, particularly Mandarin language literature and texts suitable for different learning levels.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mandarin Language Education, Mandarin Language, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) and good command of English for classroom communication and collaboration.
