Job summary

MatchaTalent is recruiting a Mandarin Curriculum Manager to localize and implement the new Mandarin program for Indonesian learners. You will adapt materials from regional HQ to fit Indonesia’s context, ensuring alignment with international standards and preparing for a January 2027 launch.

You will lead curriculum localization, teacher development, and academic QA, collaborating with regional stakeholders and local operations to ensure high-quality delivery across centers and ongoing program

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mandarin Education or related field.
HSK Level 5 or higher Mandarin proficiency with strong reading and writing.
Min 5 years in curriculum development or academic management.
Min 3 years in senior or managerial academic capacity.
Experience teaching Mandarin or developing Mandarin curriculum for children.
Strong knowledge of pedagogy, instructional design, and second-language acquisition.

Responsibilities

Localize, review, and adapt Mandarin curriculum, lessons, and assessments for Indonesian learners.
Develop age-appropriate worksheets and classroom activities aligned with objectives.
Lead teacher training programs and professional coaching sessions.
Conduct classroom observations to evaluate teaching quality and curriculum implementation.
Provide coaching to teachers to improve effectiveness and outcomes.
Monitor curriculum implementation across centers and ensure standards.
Collaborate with regional stakeholders and local operations for program launch readiness.
Gather feedback from teachers, students, and parents for improvements.
Prepare curriculum documentation, SOPs, manuals, and performance reports.
Support quality assurance systems and target milestones for launch.
