Manager, Quality Control (Carbonless Paper)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Manager to lead and implement a full quality control system for our carbonless paper products. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent product quality throughout the production process—from the Pope Reel, rewinding, and cutting, to the stuffing and packing stages. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, capable of building a QC system from the ground up, and skilled in managing cross-functional quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain product quality throughout the entire production flow. Set up and manage inspection points and quality metrics at each stage of the process.
• Oversee inspection of jumbo paper rolls produced from the Pope Reel, ensuring they meet required GSM, smoothness, coating, and color standards.
• Ensure accuracy in size, roll tension, edge quality, and splice integrity during rewinding and cutting processes. Identify and prevent roll defects or inconsistencies.
• Ensure correct stuffing (e.g., number of sheets per pack, orientation, packaging integrity) and that finished goods meet final QC requirements before shipment.
• Maintain records of inspections, test results, non-conformities, and corrective actions. Generate periodic quality reports for internal review.
• Ensure all processes comply with internal standards, customer specifications, and relevant quality certifications (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Proven ability to build and implement end-to-end quality control systems.
• Familiarity with industry standards and QC tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, lab testing equipment for paper properties).
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
• Proficient in quality management systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001.
• Placement in Karawang, West Java.
