About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manager Koperasi to lead and oversee the operations of our cooperative banking institution. This is a contract position based in Serang, Banten. As Manager Koperasi, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our cooperative, maintaining regulatory compliance, and delivering excellent service to our members. This role is strategically important to our organisation, as you will be instrumental in driving member satisfaction, financial performance, and the overall growth of our cooperative banking services.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational activities of the cooperative, ensuring all services run efficiently and effectively
• Manage and supervise staff members, providing leadership, guidance and performance management
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance member services and satisfaction
• Monitor financial performance, budgets and liquidity to ensure the cooperative remains financially healthy
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, cooperative regulations and all relevant legislation
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare regular reports for management and members
• Build and maintain relationships with members, addressing concerns and enquiries promptly
• Identify opportunities for business development and new member acquisition
• Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures
• Participate in cooperative governance activities and attend management meetings

What we are looking for

• Proven experience working in banking, financial services or cooperative banking environments
• Strong knowledge of cooperative banking principles, practices and regulations
• Solid understanding of retail banking operations and member services
• Demonstrated leadership and management experience with the ability to supervise and motivate teams
• Excellent financial acumen with the ability to analyse financial statements and reports
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with members and stakeholders
• Knowledge of Indonesian banking regulations and cooperative regulations
• Proficiency in basic computer systems and financial management software
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to upholding cooperative values and member interests
• Relevant qualifications in banking, finance, business management or cooperative management are preferred
