The role includes leading a maintenance team, supervising contractors, and ensuring project compliance with safety and operational standards. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate all building and facility maintenance activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will lead the maintenance team, supervise contractors, and act as the primary liaison between the company, vendors, and other stakeholders. With your civil engineering expertise, you’ll assess site conditions, provide technical solutions, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Supervise daily maintenance operations, including preventive and corrective work
Lead and coordinate the maintenance team, assigning tasks based on priorities.
Oversee contractors and vendors during maintenance or construction projects, ensuring work meets company standards.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure proper repairs.
Provide technical guidance and recommendations using civil engineering knowledge.
Plan maintenance schedules, allocate resources, and monitor project progress to ensure timely completion of deadlines.
Manage maintenance budgets and approve purchase requests for materials and services.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, budgets, and reports.
Evaluate vendor and contractor performance to ensure quality and reliability.
A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 2 years of experience in supervising maintenance or construction projects is preferred.
Solid understanding of construction, building maintenance systems, and safety standards.
Proven leadership or supervisory skills in maintenance or construction settings.
Strong communication and coordination skills for working with teams and vendors.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
Ability to work under pressure and make quick, sound decisions.
Prior experience in a maintenance or facility supervisory role is an advantage.
