Job summary

Japfa is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure efficient operation and safety of production equipment in the In-Line 4 processing unit. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot basic issues, and participate in training to stay updated on equipment and processes.

The role requires reading technical manuals, working in shifts (including nights/weekends), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to sustain high production standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or vocational training in mechanical/electrical/industrial maintenance is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in industrial production or maintenance, preferably in food processing or manufacturing.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components; ability to read manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery according to procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance: lubrication, cleaning, inspections, minor adjustments.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, and operational issues and escalate when needed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following health, safety, and environmental rules.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize workflows and resolve issues.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, inspections, and minor adjustments to optimize equipment performance and extend lifespan.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, and operational issues, performing immediate corrective actions or escalating complex problems to senior technicians or supervisors.
• Conduct quality checks on products during the production process, ensuring adherence to specifications and reporting any deviations.
• Record production data, maintenance activities, and equipment status accurately and timely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize workflows and resolve operational challenges.
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of new equipment or processes.

• Adherence to safety protocols and food safety standards.
