BAT Indonesia has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Lead in Malang

Maintenance Lead is the Progressive Maintenance systems owner for their line(s) and is ultimately responsible for eliminating maintenance and breakdown related losses at the lowest cost. This role is responsible for building capability in Operating Teams and Equipment Owners to deliver overall line results supporting the Compelling Business Needs.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
  • Support operational stability by assisting in basic equipment checks, reporting anomalies, participating in improvement programs, and continuous improvement against all safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Reduce/Eliminate Machine Breakdowns and stops from Machine settings.
  • Coordinate periodic preventive maintenance with the central maintenance team to ensure it is executed as planned and the machinery brought back to full production on schedule.
  • Ensurethe machine is set up correctly to improve product quality, reduce waste and downtime, and increase overall productivity.
  • Perform hands-on coaching for the equipment owners, for the progressive maintenance pillar.
  • Build capabilities among the technicians and operators.
What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or similar industries.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting methods.
  • Skilled in PLC and HMI programming (Siemens, Beckhoff, Omron, etc.).
  • Knowledge of workplace and electrical safety regulations and best practices.
  • Proficient in using electrical tools, meters, and testing devices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Effective verbal communication and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
