Job summary

PetroSea is seeking an engineer to assist daily maintenance, ensure safety and efficiency, and support permanent improvements. You will analyze failure trends, implement maintenance plans, and communicate with the team to sustain high equipment availability.

The role requires an engineering degree and hands-on experience in heavy equipment maintenance, with a focus on methodology and cost-aware decisions. English skills are an advantage, and the position aligns with mining industry targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• At least 1 year in heavy/mobile maintenance strategy.
• Knowledge of KPI measurement and analysis.
• Strong technical knowledge of heavy/mobile equipment.
• Experience with repair and maintenance methodologies.
• Understanding of cost and capital engineering.
• Awareness of mining requirements and production targets.
• English fluency preferred (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Assist and perform maintenance activities to ensure technical correctness and safety.
• Support development and preventative actions for recurring failures.
• Coordinate weekly/monthly planning and work orders.
• Monitor and communicate maintenance instructions to subordinates.
• Prepare and submit timely reports and ensure backlog parts are ordered.
• Review failures, analyze trends, and flag unsafe equipment for action.
• Maintain and implement SHE programs including ISO/SMK3 requirements.

Assist and perform maintenance daily activities to ensure maintenance work instructions are performed technically correct and in a safe efficient manner; and assist in development and preventative measures, for repeat or ongoing failure trends within relevant department areas, to ensure all activities are conform with company's standar and policies.

Responsible for compliance to weekly and monthly planning, including scheduled work orders, relating to all maintenance tasks set out daily / to help achieve long term maintenance plans and high equipment availability. The long term maintenance plans and high equipment availability are successfully achieved.

Monitor and communicate all maintenance work instructions to direct subordinates, in a clear and defined manner. Maintenance work instructions are monitored and communicated in a clear and defined manner.

Review and analyse Failures to plant by monitoring trends and report pending equipment failure for correct planning into backlog, advising immediately if equipment is unsafe to operate or high potential of major failure occurring. Failures are successfully corrected and prevented.

Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome - SHE risk well maintained

Education

Bachelor's Degree of Engineering

Skill, Knowledge, and Experience

• Min. 1 year experiences particularly in Heavy/Mobile maintenance strategy.
• Experienced with Asset Key Performance Indicator, measurement and analysis.
• Excellent knowledge and technical of Heavy/Mobile Equipment and Maintenance operation.
• Strong knowledge and experience of Repair and Maintenance Methodology and Analysis as well as by using kind of tools analysis
• Strong knowledge Cost and Capital Engineering.
• Good understanding of mining requirements and production targets
• Fluent in English, bothspoken and written is an advantage

Certification

• If candidates do not meet the requirements specified in the Education section, evaluation shall be conducted in accordance with KKNI Level 5.
