Job summary

A leading heavy equipment company in Indonesia is seeking a Machine Sales Representative to engage with customers and generate sales. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field and at least 3 years of sales experience, preferably in heavy equipment. Candidates with strong communication skills in English and knowledge of Mandarin are preferred. Immediate availability is prioritized.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a salesperson in heavy equipment.
  • Experience in selling trucks or dump trucks is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage customer relationships.

We are seeking excellent candidates to support and enhance our position as a leading company in the heavy equipment industry for the position of:

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Regular visit to customers and document the outcomes using the internal system report.
  • Develop monthly contact or visit schedules via internal system report.
  • Generate new sales demands and identify potential sales prospects.
  • Conduct promotional activities, including submitting quotations and delivering presentations.
  • Engage in negotiations to finalize deals and secure down payments.
  • Provide sales and purchase agreements.
  • Explore financing options and inform customers related to the supporting procedures involving financial institutions.
  • Arrange the delivery of units.
  • Obtain signatures on the B.A.S.T. (handover document).
  • Collect any remaining accounts receivable from customers.
Qualification:
  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, Agribusiness, Management, Forestry, Economics, or any related field.
  • A minimum of 3 (three) years of experience as a salesperson specializing in heavy equipment.
  • Having experience in selling trucks or dump trucks is advantageous.
  • Mature, independent, communicative, outgoing, target-oriented, and well‑adjusted.
  • Good communication skills in English (spoken and written) are essential.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (Hokkien, Hakka, Cantonese, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of preparing and delivering presentations as needed.
  • Computer literacy in Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • It is highly recommended that candidates own a car and possess a driving license (SIM A).
  • Immediate availability will be given priority.
