Job summary

World Resources Institute (WRI) Indonesia is seeking a Consultant as a Low Carbon Technology Analyst to support the SETI project, focusing on energy efficiency and renewable energy in Indonesian industries. The role is hybrid with 8 days/month in the office in Jakarta, and requires legal work authorization.

You will conduct techno-economic analyses, prepare presentations, and collaborate with government and industry partners to advance energy transition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or energy field.
• Minimum 4 years in energy transition, energy efficiency, or renewables.
• Strong ability to review technical reports and perform techno-economic calculations.
• Proficient in English; Bahasa Indonesia helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultations on energy efficiency and renewable energy implementation.
• Review engineering/design documents and perform techno-economic analyses.
• Develop slide decks for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support project planning, MEL activities, and reporting.
• Engage with government and industry stakeholders.
