Job summary

An international logistics company based in Batam is looking for an experienced logistics coordinator to manage import and export activities. The role includes liaising with logistics partners, preparing essential shipping documents, and overseeing daily operations. Candidates must have strong Incoterms knowledge, a Diploma or equivalent, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and preferably be fluent in English and Mandarin.

This position is work-from-home and based in a remote office in Batam for a company established in 2008 with its headquarters in Singapore.

Job Description

• Liaise with local (Singapore) and overseas logistics partners
• Prepare necessary export/import documents (CEISA, Import LCL, Export LCL, AWB, B/L, Packing List, PPFTZ), and necessary insurance
• Manage daily import/export operations, including handling air and sea shipments, etc
• Communicate with local transporters, forwarders and track shipment status
• Verify bills of lading and oversee their release.
• Perform additional administrative tasks related to customs and shipping.
• Monitor export and import activities to ensure they adhere to schedules.
• Prepare and submit reports on export/import activities.

Requirements

• Strong latest Incoterms knowledge for international shipments.
• Minimum Diploma degree in any field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Prior experience in a shipping company.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin (preferred).
