Job summary

A leading multinational company in Jakarta Utara is seeking a logistics professional to manage inventory, transportation costs, and import/export processes. You will coordinate operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and support order management. The ideal candidate has a diploma in Business Administration and over 5 years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills in English are required.

Job description
Responsibilities

Be responsible for the summary report of inventory working capital, transportation costs, and customer order lead-time.

Monitor the quality, quantity, cost, and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.

Coordinate and control the order cycle and associated information systems.

Manage the inspection, shipping, handling, and packaging of supplies and equipment.

Be responsible for inventory analysis.

Be responsible for the good receipt form documentation.

Prepare packing document for goods issue.

Review and verify import/export shipment documentation and ensure accuracy and completeness (invoice, packing list, BL/AWB, COO, etc.).

Ensure full compliance with all-in-all import/export regulations, customs procedures, including HS Code classification, shipment planning, and reporting.

Check price and roll cost with the supplier and the forwarder.

Deal with warehouse and transportation parties for shipment arrangement.

Be responsible for stock preparation & export shipment.

Update order status & maintain the order/invoice database.

Be the backup of the reception function when necessary.

Other ad hoc projects as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • Diploma holder in Business Administration or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in order processing functions. Strong logistics, end-to-end export-import process, incoterms, and inventory/warehouse management background with proven order track records.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, service-oriented, initiative, and independent.
  • Good analytical mind and business sense.
  • Good command in both spoken and written English.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Hands-on experience of SAP or other ERP (i.e., PTP, OTC, PltP, and MDM modules) is preferable.
