Job summary

A logistics-focused company in Danauindah, Indonesia is looking for a Logistics Operations Manager. This role is responsible for managing both international and domestic logistics operations, ensuring compliance with import and export regulations, and collaborating with various departments to optimize processes. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in the logistics of medical devices, strong English communication skills, and knowledge of ERP/SAP.

Qualifications

Job description

This position is responsible for Logistics operations for international and domestic. This includes import and export processes in accordance with regulations, SOP related to Logistics with the highest productivity and the best solutions for the company.

Responsibilities

• International import and export process to ensure compliance with regulations and on-time delivery (OTD) goods: Review all import and export documentation for accuracy and completeness. Handle import/export custom clearance, payment of tax and duty, submit reports to related authorities.
• Domestic shipment operations process to ensure compliance with regulations and OTD goods: Arrange domestic logistic shipment, implement invoice payment for SO fulfillment, check insurance for valuable cargo. Design transportation solution (SOP) and arrange testing.
• Cooperate with Virtue global SCM team for any logistics business demand.
• Sourcing logistics suppliers for better efficiency and minimize costs; work closely with Customs and related government for business demand.
• Manage logistics suppliers: Sign contracts with qualified logistics suppliers for stable cooperation, phase out unqualified logistics suppliers.
• Improve and implement Logistics and Goods Packaging SOP.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver products on time.
• Control logistics costs and summarize logistics reports regularly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Logistics/Engineering or relevant fields.
• Experience in Export/Import procedures and system (PIB, HS Code, and other processes).
• Minimum 3 years working experience in logistics of medical devices or the pharmaceutical or any related industry.
• Experience working with ERP / SAP.
• Good command of written and spoken English (mandatory).
