Job description

Operations Management

• Oversee daily trucking operations, including dispatching, route planning, and fleet utilization.
• Monitor driver performance, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
• Ensure timely pickups, deliveries, and problem resolution in case of delays or breakdowns.
• Maintain compliance with transportation regulations and safety policies.
• Optimize costs by managing fuel consumption, vehicle efficiency, and operational workflows.

Marketing & Business Development

• Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
• Conduct market research to identify business opportunities and pricing strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with shippers, freight brokers, and logistics partners.
• Manage digital and offline marketing efforts, including branding, advertising, and customer outreach.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements with clients.

Performance Monitoring & Improvement

• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for both operations and sales.
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements using technology and best practices.
• Provide regular reports on operational efficiency, revenue growth, and market positioning.
