We are looking for a qualified Logistic Manager for our dairy business.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead and optimize our end‑to‑end logistics operations for dairy products. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient import processes, warehouse management, distribution, and transportation while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence to deliver cost‑effective and timely solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain & Vendor Management
  • Manage and optimize transport routes and schedules for cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate with third‑party logistics (3PL) providers for timely deliveries.
  • Monitor import shipments and ensure clearance within free days to avoid charges.
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with 3PL warehouses, freight forwarders, and logistics vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts and service‑level agreements with warehousing and logistics partners.
Team Leadership
  • Set and review departmental targets (e.g., on‑time delivery, cost reduction, inventory accuracy).
  • Promote a culture of Lean/Kaizen to reduce waste and improve processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology (WMS, automation tools) and train the team accordingly.
Warehouse & Inventory Oversight
  • Oversee inventory management and stock rotation practices (FIFO/FEFO).
  • Align purchases with demand forecasts in coordination with sales teams.
  • Conduct monthly stock‑takes to ensure accuracy between physical and system records (Navision).
Order Fulfillment & Distribution
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders to distributors and customers.
  • Minimize order cycle times and maximize delivery reliability.
  • Prepare costing sheets promptly with competitive cost structures.
Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure full compliance with government and regulatory standards (e.g., BPOM, SMKPO).
  • Maintain accurate records of transportation logs, delivery schedules, and quality reports.
  • Ensure timely submission of invoices by suppliers/vendors to Accounts department.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in logistics operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of import/export regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in WMS and ERP systems (Navision experience preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
