Intrepid Asia is seeking a proactive Live Stream Engagement Intern to amplify brand live sessions and drive real-time participation across social platforms. You will support hosts, craft engaging comments, and help grow audience engagement while learning end-to-end livestream strategies in a fast-paced Southeast Asian market.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple profiles and chat interfaces during fast-paced live sessions.
• Strong conversational skills with natural-sounding comments (not robotic).
• Deep understanding of TikTok, Shopee, or Instagram Live algorithms and features.
• Ability to switch personas in chat to match customer inquiries.
• High discipline regarding live stream schedules; evening/weekend shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Live Interaction Management: Actively participate in brand live streams by asking relevant product questions and sparking conversations with the host to maintain a high-energy atmosphere
• Engagement Boosting: Execute strategic engagement tasks including likes, shares, and comments across multiple managed profiles to increase stream visibility and 'social proof.'
• Audience Simulation: Use various community-driven accounts to simulate organic interest, helping to overcome 'the empty room' effect and encouraging real viewers to join the funnel
• Content Support: Work closely with the Live Host to highlight key product USPs (Unique Selling Points) through the chat flow
• Monitoring: Keep an eye on the sentiment of the chat and report any technical issues or recurring customer questions to the marketing team

The team you will be part of

The Social Commerce Team is a fast-growing team leading the way in livestream selling, short video content, and affiliate marketing across Southeast Asia. We work with top brands, combining creativity, data, and platform expertise to drive real commercial results. As part of Intrepid's end-to-end eCommerce ecosystem, we gain broad exposure across operations, collaborate with cross-functional experts, and play a key role in shaping how brands connect with digital shoppers in real time.

The part you will play

We are looking for a proactive and creative Live Stream Engagement Intern to help drive excitement and social proof during our brand's live sessions. Your primary goal is to boost live metrics and foster a high-energy environment that encourages real-time participation from organic viewers.

As Livestream Engagement Intern, you will take in charge of:

• Live Interaction Management: Actively participate in brand live streams by asking relevant product questions and sparking conversations with the host to maintain a high-energy atmosphere
