Job summary

PT Tekno Gemilang Indonesia (TOG Indonesia) is seeking a Liferay Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain Liferay-based applications. You will work on OSGi bundles, Service Builder, and theme/layout customization, leveraging Spring and Java 8+.

Strong collaboration with teams is essential. Ideal candidates have hands-on Liferay 7/7.4 experience, Git/Gitflow proficiency, and solid knowledge of Eclipse or IntelliJ.

Qualifications

Job description

• Design and develop applications using Liferay Portal, contributing to the success of technology initiatives.
• Participate in the technical design and architecture of application systems.
• Develop, implement, test, and maintain application systems based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform change impact analysis to assess the potential effects of system modifications.
• Design, develop, code, test, debug, document, maintain, and modify computer programs with moderate complexity, significance, and risk.
• Work hands-on with Liferay 7 / Liferay 7.4, including:
• Creating and customizing OSGi bundles.
• Developing and customizing Service Builder in Liferay 7.4 (OSGi).
• Implementing interactions between Spring Portlets and Liferay Service Builder.
• Developing and managing Web Content in Liferay.
• Perform Liferay customization, including:
• Creating Hooks for JSP customization.
• Overriding existing Struts Actions.
• Creating new Struts Actions for OOTB (Out-of-the-Box) portlets.
• Working with Events and Index Post Processors.
• Implementing Service Wrappers.
• Managing Languages and Localization.
• Familiarity with Liferay MVC.
• Develop and customize Themes and Layouts, including:
• Using AUI (AlloyUI) and Bootstrap to create UI components.
• Implementing content localization.
• Have a strong understanding of Liferay's core concepts and administration, including:
• Sites and Pages.
• Users and User Groups.
• Organizations and Locations.
• Roles and Permissions.
• Portlets and resource-based permission management.
• Managing pages and permissions across Sites, Organizations, User Groups, and other Liferay resources.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of the Spring Framework, particularly:
• Spring MVC
• Spring Security
• Strong experience with Java 8 or higher.
• Hands-on experience with Liferay 7 / Liferay 7.4.
• Experience with OSGi and Liferay Service Builder.
• Experience with Git and Gitflow.
• Familiarity with Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals and logical thinking skills.
