Legal & Regulatory Specialist
Job Description
- Draft, review, and ensure compliance with business contracts, cooperation agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure business operations comply with licensing regulations, including retail trade and intellectual property rights.
- Monitor and manage business permits, legal document renewals, and required certifications.
- Provide legal advice on corporate business activities.
- Handle and manage legal documents related to copyrights, trademarks, trade regulations, and consumer protection laws.
- Coordinate with external parties, including notaries, government agencies, and legal consultants as needed.
- Identify and manage legal risks that may impact company operations.
Legal Specialist
A Legal Specialist to handle company and import-export permits, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and ensuring clients' compliance with Indonesian regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Handling Factory Lisence and certifications such as: Environmental Permit (Persetujuan Lingkungan, Amdal, UPL UKL), Building Approval (PBG), SIINAS, etc
- Handling Import-Export permits (Import approval/Persetujuan Impor(PI), Registered Importer/Importir terdaftar (IT), Registered Exporter/(ET), etc.)
- Conduct legal research to ensure client compliance with Indonesian laws and regulations.
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents for our clients.
- Manage legal documents, licenses and certifications requires by the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in law or a related field (S1 Hukum).
- Experience in Company Registration (Mainly Factory) dan Import-Export Permits.
- At least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field.
- Ability to write and converse in Englishisaplus.
- Detail oriented, organized, and has good problem-solving skills.
- Be highly motivated, flexible, collaborative, adaptable and quick learner.
- Has legal knowledge and contract drafting skills, as well as good communication, negotiation, management, networking and critical thinking skills.
- Should be able to working full time and work from office.
Legal Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support for all company activities, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts or agreements.
- Handle corporate licensing, permits, and ensure compliance with Indonesian laws and regulations.
- Provide legal opinions, risk assessments, and recommendations to management.
- Manage and maintain legal documentation (agreements, licenses, permits, corporate records).
- Support litigation or dispute resolution processes, liaising with external law firms when required.
- Conduct legal research, particularly in corporate, labor, and industry-related regulations.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure company procedures comply with applicable laws.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law (advocate license/ PERADI certification is a plus).
- Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in a legal role (preferably in corporate/manufacturing).
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Mandarin proficiency is an advantage (optional).
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, licensing, and Indonesian regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team, with high integrity.
