Overview

Job Description: As a Legal Staff, you will provide comprehensive legal support to ensure the company’s operations comply with applicable laws and regulations related to payment services and financial technology. You will assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining legal documentation, advising internal stakeholders, and liaising with regulators to support the company’s business goals in a compliant and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including service agreements, partnership contracts, NDAs, vendor agreements, and MoUs.
  • Ensure company compliance with relevant laws and regulations, particularly those issued by Bank Indonesia (BI), OJK, and other regulatory bodies related to payment system services (PJP).
  • Provide legal opinions and recommendations to management and business units on various operational and regulatory matters.
  • Support licensing, registration, and reporting processes with regulators (BI and OJK).
  • Monitor and analyse regulatory updates related to payment systems, e-money, QRIS, and digital financial services.
  • Maintain proper documentation and database of contracts and legal correspondence.
  • Assist in dispute resolution, legal due diligence, and internal investigations if necessary.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsels when required.
  • Support internal compliance, corporate governance, and risk management initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Law from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as Legal Staff or Legal Officer, preferably in Payment Service Provider (PJP), Fintech, Banking, or Financial Institution.
  • Strong knowledge of regulations related to payment systems, BI regulations, OJK compliance, and fintech operations.
  • Experienced in drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with digital document management systems.
