Job Purpose

Coordinate an alignment within the Legal Team and CCEP; review and evaluate legal analysis and technical reports and make recommendations; to be a business partner by providing strategic legal guidance by reviewing and advising on contracts, correspondence, and other documents across trade, commercial, manufacturing, logistics, financial, and operational matters; proactively manage disputes, regulatory inquiries, and legal proceedings, and collaborate with external counsel on complex legal issues to support business objectives; oversee corporate governance and compliance activities in accordance with Indonesian Company Law; support Ethics & Compliance Team to conduct training (Conflict of Interest) appraise legal review and advice for National Examiner team; and provide legal advice and review related with Incident Management and Crisis Resolution and represent the organization to provide comprehensive report and review of company litigation strategies pertaining to legal actions and actions plan of agreed

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the development of laws, regulations and government policies which are relevant to CCEP business and prepare material for General Counsel to prepare legal guidelines and policies and discuss with General Counsel on how to respond to legal issues or changes in laws and regulations.
  • Prepare or review contracts and other documents related to a variety of sales, marketing, commercial, financial, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and other operational matters as well as attending court proceedings, police investigations and other legal issues to protect CCEP legal and business interests.
  • Ensure robust corporate governance by advising on and overseeing compliance with Indonesian Company Law and internal policies, maintaining statutory records, and guiding corporate actions. Liaising with notary public for the issuance of corporate deeds and approval or notifications to the Ministry of Law.
  • Follow up fraud findings and prepare legal actions to recover the company assets or protect the company interest.
  • Assist Senior Legal Counsel to respond the IMCR and represent the organization in complex, controversial, significant, or specialized legal proceedings before courts, government agencies, or other authorities so that the organization’s interests are protected to create a timely incident and crisis resolution impact on corporate reputation
  • Provide a list of to 5 external lawyers to handle cases relevant to the organization; review the lawyer time sheet and costs; collaborate with external lawyers to provide the most efficient way to handle cases for the best interest of the company.
Experience required
  • Minimum 7 years of working experience in reputable law firm and have exposures in investments, general corporate and commercial, labor, lease, dispute resolutions, land and leasing, distribution and banking and insurance. Language Capability & expert level
  • Have a good communication skill both verbal and written in English
Education & Qualifications required
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in law from a reputable university.
  • Preferably qualified to practice and have license from PERADI (Persatuan Advokat Indonesia /Indonesian Bar Association)
