Job summary

BINA NUSANTARA invites applications for a Faculty Member to contribute to teaching, research, and content development across its programs. The role includes delivering lectures, supervising students, and participating in program development.

Candidates should hold a Master Degree in a relevant field, have at least 2 years of experience, and be prepared to engage in accreditation activities, mentoring, and quality improvement within the department.

• Jenjang Jabatan Akademik (JJA): Minimum Asisten Ahli
• 2+ years of working experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform Teaching Activities: disseminate knowledge to students, assist learning, assess students.
• Perform Research Activities: participate in research projects, publish findings, contribute to reputation as scholars.
• Content Development & Evaluation Activities: enrich and maintain course material, review course content, support accreditation processes.
• Management Support Activities: provide academic advisory and supervision, report to department heads, improve teaching processes.

Faculty Member Activities

• Perform Teaching Activities:
  • Disseminate and impart basic or applied knowledge to students
  • Assist students with learning process
  • Assessing student's learning
• Perform Research Activities:
  • Participate actively in specific research projects
  • Propose new topics for research projects
  • Maintain a program of research, scholarship or artistic creativity through which they should aspire to a national or international reputation as scholars and promotion to the rank of Professor (academic specialist rank)
  • Contribute to their disciplines through publishing articles and books, presenting research findings, or disseminating their work to external audiences
• Perform Community Services:
  • Participate actively in community service programs
  • Propose new program for community service

Content Development & Evaluation Activities

• Enrich and maintain course material
• Review and revise course material quality by conducting Course Outline/Online Resources review and revision (every semester)
• Assist the course and examination content preparation, evaluation, development, and improvement to support the accreditation process
• Provide input for obsolete courses and teaching materials to Head of Department/Program
• Coordinate other lecturers related to course development and evaluation process, as well as provide mentoring, coaching and feedback
• Ensure the quality of teaching delivery for all classes according to standard
• Ensure on time completion of content development & evaluation process

Teaching Activities

• Ensure the quality of teaching delivery within related classes according to the standard (Course Outline and On-Line Resources)
• Develop and implement new methods of teaching
• Assist students with learning process and applying the knowledge
• Participate in the peer review activities
• Provide the best learning experience for students
• Contribute to their Department/Program/Faculty/School curriculum diversity and richness, and to foster their students’ critical and creative abilities

Management Support Activities

• Act as Academic Advisory and Thesis Supervision (based on assignment)
• Provide Report to SCC/CCC and Head of Department/Program
• Suggest improvement process related to teaching activities
• Perform activities related to Quality Management System
• Perform additional tasks as required by direct supervisor
• Perform the role of lecturer as stated in Catur Dharma Perguruan Tinggi
