We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Leasing Section Head to join our team and lead leasing operations in a premium shopping mall environment. This role is responsible for developing tenant mix strategies, driving occupancy rates, maintaining strong tenant relations, and ensuring optimal commercial performance aligned with the mall’s positioning as a high-end retail destination.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
- Identify, source, and negotiate with high-end retail, F&B, and lifestyle brands to enhance the mall’s tenant mix.
- Manage the end-to-end leasing process including space planning, proposal preparation, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing tenants to ensure retention and resolve any lease-related issues promptly.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Finance departments to support promotional activities and overall mall performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and lease administration standards.
- Supervise and guide the leasing team in achieving departmental goals and maintaining professional performance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of leasing experience in the retail property industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior role.
- Proven track record in high-end shopping mall or lifestyle retail developments.
- Strong understanding of tenant mix planning, lease negotiation, and retail market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage with premium brand representatives and corporate clients.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and lease management systems.
- Highly driven, result-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
