The Client

Datacenter People is recruiting for a company dedicated to prefabricated modular datacenters, with an installed base of 600 units ranging from cable landing stations, repeater stations to disaster recovery sites, covering all-in-one prefabricated datacenters, modular utility platforms composed of IT modules and facilities modules, tailor-made as well as co-developed solutions.

What The Job Involves

• You keep abreast of the latest technologies, products and solutions within the DCF domain in general and in more detail within the segment of your specialisation.
• You understand a customer's business needs and translate them into the best solution.
• You implement this solution by consolidating the domain project plans into an E2E project plan, production and/or installation files, electrical and mechanical plans.
• During implementation, you provide production guidelines, you monitor and steer until the delivery of this solution is in line with the highest quality, which will be delivered in-time and within the agreed budgets.
• You ensure that all user manuals are up to date.
• You support the Project Manager in organising and delivering (FAT and SAT) a DCF installation.

We Are Looking For Someone With

• You hold a Bachelor/Master's degree in Engineering Electricity/Electromechanics/Cooling Engineering (or equivalent through experience).
• You have a minimum of 5 years' experience in one or more of the following fields: electricity, mechanics, electronics, refrigeration, fire protection, access control or monitoring platform.
• You are able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and are familiar with different project management methodologies.
• You are passionate about the facilities aspect of data centres and willing to share knowledge and experience with others.
• You know how to motivate people and teams.
• You are fluent in Dutch/French and English.
• You are assertive and a good (change) communicator.
• Knowledge of Windows, MS Office and ERP systems (Navision is a plus).
