Job summary

Insignia.Co.Id seeks a seasoned Lead Machine Learning Engineer to head the design, development, and deployment of advanced ML models from our Bekasi, West Java office. You will guide a talented team and shape the technical direction of our AI products in a collaborative, in-person setting.

The ideal candidate has a strong theoretical background and a proven track record building production-ready ML systems, with leadership experience, proficiency in Python and major ML frameworks, and experience

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, ML, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
• 6+ years in machine learning engineering, with at least 2 years in a lead/senior role.
• Proven track record deploying and scaling ML models in production.
• Strong Python programming and experience with TF, PyTorch, scikit-learn.
• Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containers (AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Experience with MLOps is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of ML models and algorithms.
• Manage and mentor a team of ML engineers with technical guidance and feedback.
• Oversee the ML lifecycle from data preprocessing to deployment.
• Develop and maintain scalable ML pipelines and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to translate requirements.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and efficiency of deployed models.
• Establish best practices for ML development including reviews and testing.
• Stay updated with advancements and advocate new technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production ML system issues.
