Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitors and maintains all of the garden areas, free from weeds with a maximum yield.
• Ensures gardening work orders are executed promptly and correctly.
• Be fully skilled in the use of the machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Planning and implementing procedures, systems, and controls to ensure an efficient, timely, and pro‑active engineering department.
• Monitors host activity, productivity, and Utilization rates and manage accordingly.
• Advises Landscaping Manager of downtime or delays in completion of tasks.
• Manages the team day to day duties and job assignments. Provide support to the team where required.
• Allocate manning where needed and provide.
• Maintains working area and makes sure that all working areas remain clean at all times.
• Uses personal safety wares for personal safety while on duty.
• Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent in horticulture or a closely related role and at least 2 years experience in a similar setting.
• Good understanding of the latest trends and techniques in landscaping, plus the ability to successfully implement sustainability initiatives.
• Technical skills include the ability to analyze and design projects and maintain full knowledge of landscaping‑related products and services used in resorts.
